Scrubs

Since I had nothing else that was to record onto my DVR at the time, I decided to tape and watch the "finale" for Braff and possibly the show. First of all, that's very lame right there. They don't even know if there will be another season. As worthless as Braff was as far as humor and really any value at all goes, his absence from the show would hurt ratings even further to potentially obliterate them among whatever fanbase the show has managed to acquire. I'll admit that I used to like the show, which is really the only reason I would bother to watch a possible series finale. I got into it whenever Comedy Central first began airing it. I am not sure, however, that I still appreciate the older episodes. The show's last and possibly second-to-last (I don't remember) season with NBC was awful and the season that came from ABC's "saving" them was possibly even worse. The whole, "Janitor is out to get J.D.," "Carla is "sassy,"" "Elliott is a nervous wreck," "J.D. and Turk are homosexuals," "Perry is a hard***," et cetera, et cetera, got beyond played-out. I was grossed-out by the concept of Braff's character allegedly being "the best doctor the hospital had seen," or maybe it was "one of the best." Unlikely. I also thought it was lame that after all that time Perry wouldn't have known that J.D. had set it up so Perry would compliment him.
